Who i think is an educated person

Hey guys,
So in school we have been discussing what we think makes a person educated and who is a educated person, so I am going to tell you all what I think makes a person educated and who I think is a an educated person.

Who I think is an educated person

People might think that to be an educated person means to be able to read, write and do math. But I think that that’s not what makes a person educated. It is true people need to have those things to get through their everyday life but that does not mean that people that do not know how to read and write are uneducated. I think a person can be educated just by living life, by making mistakes and learning from them. Also, where they live and their life situation can depend on what they need to learn. For example,a little kid in Africa can live his or her entire life not being able to write and read yet they   can have jobs and go through life happily. It may not be the way that a person in the city would live but that does not mean the little African kid is stupid.  They learn from their everyday life experiences and by working with others and playing with their friends.

 For some people, there are different things they think they should know. I think Some things are number one for my life and then I think I  should have a deep knowledge about it and then the other stuff just have a some knowledge about it to get me through life and help me think in an open minded way. Things that I think are number one for my life are: reading writing, communication, math, religion and culinary arts (I want to be a chef when I finish school).  Think of my way of thinking about how I think of how important my education is as a letter T. The important things are the like the stem and the the things I think I should know just to be able to live life are the – part of the T. Sorry if its not clear….

What I consider important may be different from what others think is but in the end, I think every one is educated. Maybe not in the way they are expected to be but they have had experiances that they have learnd from and they are educated in that way. So that’s what I think is what makes a peson educated.
